  26.1 German language uses a lot compound words.


German language uses very often compound words to state things more precisely. In German it's common to write those words together. In English this is to be found also quite often.

Some examples    
  Ohr = ear
  Innenohr = inner ear
  Ohrmuschel = outer ear
  Ohrläppchen = earlobe
       
  Garten = garden
  Gemüsegarten = vegetable garden
  Obstgarten = fruit garden
  Ziergarten = ornamental garden
